For sale is a rare Rolex Prince Cellini in 18k white gold and deployment buckle. Watch comes with box and booklets but unfortunately warranty card has been misplaced.
First introduced in 1928, the Rolex Prince is a stylish dress watch created with compromising elegance, but outside the circles of Rolex’s most passionate followers, it is virtually unknown. It was discontinued towards the end of the 1940s. However, when the Cellini series returned in 2005, so did the Prince.
The Rolex Prince 5543/9 features a solid 18k white gold rectangular case with twin dials which stands out from your usual Rolex. Not only is the case shape unusual, instead of a solid caseback which usually conceals the beating heart of the watch, the Prince comes with an exhibition caseback which allows you to admire the Rolex’s unique Calibre 7040.
